We are recruiting for a Food & Beverage Assistant at Rhinefield House Hotel, known as the 'Jewel in the Forest', located within the New Forest National Park. The hotel features 50 bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant, outdoor pool, and beautiful gardens.
Responsibilities
1. Prepare food and beverage service areas to company standards, maintaining high presentation quality.
2. Have knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens, and preparation styles.
3. Offer accurate product descriptions and recommendations based on guest preferences.
4. Work enthusiastically with team members to meet departmental goals.
5. Maintain basic knowledge of the wine list and stock availability.
6. Understand principles of food and wine matching and grape varieties.
7. Be inspired, have fun, and enjoy being part of the team.
About You
1. Experience in food and beverage service within a quality hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
2. Enthusiastic and willing to take on new responsibilities.
3. Flexible to assist in different hotel areas as needed.
4. Bar experience is desirable.
5. High emotional intelligence to anticipate guest needs.
6. Ability to deliver high-quality, personalized guest experiences.
