Overview of role
As a SEO Account Director, you will:
1. Drive the SEO strategy, delivering performance and growth for our clients.
2. Oversee the delivery of client SEO campaigns, ensuring best practices, innovation, and excellence across strategy, planning, implementation, and reporting.
3. Review and approve key client-facing documentation, reports, and presentations.
4. Produce strategic insights and analysis to define long-term organic strategies, leveraging emerging technologies and trends.
5. Support team members with your SEO expertise.
6. Manage and develop team members, delegating tasks accordingly.
7. Act as a mentor, ensuring training needs are identified and addressed.
8. Stay updated with industry changes and lead knowledge-sharing sessions.

Responsibilities of the role
Business
* Ensure clients and teams are informed about campaign performance and tactics.
* Manage client budgets and ensure accurate financial activities.
* Provide optimal solutions within client budgets.
* Collaborate with client service teams to devise SEO strategies.
* Support new business efforts through RFP responses and meetings.
* Celebrate and promote successes internally and externally.
People
* Manage a team of SEO Account Managers and Executives.
* Monitor and support workload management.
* Develop team skills through training and mentoring.
* Ensure clarity of responsibilities among staff.
* Guide campaigns within a structured framework.
