How does this role fit into Fidelity International UK Fund Accounting is part of Asset Management Operations (AMO), and is responsible for maintaining the books and records of a broad range of funds AMO is the operational backbone of Fidelity's Investment Solutions & Services business, that provides trade settlement, asset pricing, corporate action processing, as well as fund accounting (NAV generation and production of reports and accounts for our funds). AMO Locations: Australia, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, South Korea, Taiwan, & the UK (where this role is based) What you will need to produce in this role Maintain records on our core Fund Accounting system, InvestOne Enterprise Support accounting of income on OEIC products Monitor and process expense accruals and payments from the funds to third parties and the management company Calculate and process daily rebates attributable to Fidelity products that hold other funds Manage queries from other parts of Fidelity International Contribute as part of this team around busy calendar month-end and fund year-end dates Experience, Qualifications and Desire for this role Wants to work in Financial Services and Fund Accounting - any experience will be very useful (10%) Likes working with numbers - analytical skills, and attention to detail (22.5%) Able to solve problems, because of new market challenges, or when things just don't go as planned (5%) Systems - working knowledge of Office applications, particularly Excel. Any exposure to InvestOne is a bonus (12.5%) Communication - enjoys preparing and delivering clear verbal and written updates (7.5%) Enjoys reasonable job pressure to meet tight deadlines, so that the day goes quickly (22.5%) Likes working in a team, providing and receiving assistance to get the work done (20%) As an international financial services organisation, we are in-scope of international regulations in the way that we carry out our work.
