The Senior Engineer will lead and coordinate civil engineering activities for the Carbon Capture Scheme project, ensuring compliance with design, safety, and quality standards. Holding a Temporary Works Co-ordinator (TWC) ticket, this role will have responsibility for managing all temporary works on site in accordance with BS 5975 and company procedures.
Job Description
Project Delivery:
* Manage and oversee civil and structural works, including reinforced concrete, foundations, and associated infrastructure.
* Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
Temporary Works Coordination:
* Act as the single point of contact for all temporary works on site.
* Implement and maintain the Temporary Works Procedure, including design briefs, registers, and permits to load/strike.
* Coordinate with designers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
* Inspect and sign off temporary works installations, modifications, and dismantling.
Leadership & Compliance:
* Mentor junior engineers and supervise site teams.
* Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and company HSE standards.
* Liaise with stakeholders to resolve technical queries and sequencing constraints.
Qualifications
* Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
* Current Temporary Works co-ordinator (TWC) training
* Proven experience in temporary works co-ordination on Civil infrastructure.
* Strong knowledge of BS 5975 and temporary works best practices.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Additional Information
This role will be based at our Mold Office (Flintshire) to cover office opening hours between 7am and 5pm
