This role will manage external communication channels, including the company website, digital platforms, media relations, and brand activity, helping to build visibility, strengthen our reputation, and engage effectively with key stakeholders and partners.

This is a hybrid role based in Richmond.

External Communications Manager Responsibilities

Corporate Communications

1. Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to define messaging that aligns with the company's strategic vision and sales objectives.
2. Develop and execute integrated marketing and communication programmes tailored to priority sectors.
3. Lead on brand development and ensure consistent application of brand identity across all external materials.
4. Oversee website development, content updates, and digital presence.
5. Manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are used effectively.

External Communications

6. Plan and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social media, email, print).
7. Create and manage PR campaigns to increase brand awareness and track performance.
8. Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry associations, and publications.
9. Produce high-quality content, including thought leadership articles, case studies, and news updates.
10. Manage corporate and sales-related LinkedIn campaigns to engage target audiences.
11. Coordinate with event teams to ensure brand consistency and effective communications at industry events.
12. Develop sales support materials and resources to promote products and services.
13. Collaborate with central/global teams to align UK communications with wider group activity.

Ideal External Communications Manager Profile:

14. Strong background in B2B marketing and communications.
15. Experience in managing integrated communications strategies.
16. Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
17. Demonstrated expertise in content development and repurposing for engagement.
