We are seeking an exceptional person to be our next Head of Employability and Enterprise. The vision in our new Distinctively Brighton 2035 Strategy is that Brighton will be the first-choice university for enterprise and equity, delivering transformational impact for our students by building a learning culture that fosters radical curiosity and prepares our students for a confident future.
Informed by our student voice and through developing effective partnerships with employers, you will work with relevant senior academic and senior professional services colleagues to create suitably connected and effective services and opportunities for our students, ensuring they are fit for purpose, agile and resilient and provide a consistent, high- level quality of service
As the University’s professional expert on careers and employability you will play a pivotal role in advancing how the university reimagines services, ensuring they are designed to prepare our students for life beyond the University, whatever their chosen path.
Ensuring an inclusive, integrated and adaptive approach to our employability provision, you will oversee teams that lead on Student Enterprise; Internships, Placements and Volunteering; Social Mobility and Mentoring; Employability and Employer Engagement and Career Information and Development.
To Excel In This Role, You Will Need
* Experience of managing large scale delivery to a student or equivalent client base
* Excellent leaderships skills
* Experience of successfully building and leveraging relationships with employers to inform and enhance provision
This is a full-time, permanent role, based in Brighton (Moulsecoomb campus), with hybrid working options in line with university policy.
