Location: Battersea, London
Contract: Temp to Permanent
Start date: Immediate start
Pay Rate: £110 £130 per day (depending on experience)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Science Technician to join a thriving secondary school in Battersea. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for a skilled technician who can support the science department in delivering outstanding practical learning.
Responsibilities
* Support the science department in delivering practical learning to a high standard.
* Manage and maintain laboratory equipment; order resources.
* Prepare experiments and assist teachers in practical activities.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and COSHH regulations.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 4 years experience working as a Science Technician (ideally within a school setting).
* Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, health and safety, and COSHH regulations.
* Ability to manage and maintain lab equipment, order resources, and support teachers in preparing experiments.
* Excellent organisation and communication skills.
* A proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious approach.
