Job Description
The Site Administrator plays a key role in project delivery, supporting stakeholders and managing on‑site administrative duties.
Position Details
Site based, full time – Start: July 2026, Contract: Permanent, Hours: 07:30–15:30, Location: Berkswell, Coventry.
Responsibilities
* Document control, including data entry and uploading documents to SharePoint and Aconex, ensuring paperwork complies with Quality and H&S procedures.
* Project superuser for the access control system MSite; issue registration emails to new users, monitor trade card expiry, run reports and audits.
* Assist the Accounts department to ensure invoices are signed and approved quickly; manage delivery docket approval, obtain timely signatures using Coins OA, and keep the approved signature list current.
* Act as the main point of contact for all visitors; manage sign‑ins, provide PPE, and support the team with inductions and site close‑down procedures.
* Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies, PPE, consumables for the site and updating information boards.
* Support the Social Value Team to achieve project targets, liaise with stakeholders, local council, employment partners and local education providers, produce progress reports, and coordinate CCS audits.
* Occasional travel to other Farrans projects or Head Offices.
Qualifications
Essential
* Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
* Confident in asking questions, seeking clarification, learning new experiences, and supporting a hard‑working team.
* Previous administration or project coordinator experience.
* Ability to prioritise, multi‑task, and meet deadlines.
* Professional demeanour.
Desirable
* Previous construction industry experience.
* Experience with Aconex.
* Experience with MSite.
