About the role of Commercial Manager
As Commercial Manager, you will be joining a privately owned Main Contractor whose headquarters are in London. They have been established for over 60 years and have built a strong reputation across London and the South East. They primarily focus on the commercial sector but also deliver projects in healthcare, education, leisure, student accommodation and mixed-use schemes. The project values vary from 10m - 80m with developments located across Central London.
You will be overseeing 3 lives projects which all have a team based on site that will report into you.
Key Responsibilities of Commercial Manager
Include but not limited to;
* Oversee the commercial performance of several projects simultaneously
* Monitoring profitability and project cash flow
* Reviewing procurement strategy
* Forecasting project financial performance
* Identifying commercial risks and opportunities
* Negotiating subcontract terms
* Resolving commercial disputes
* Mentoring junior staff
Key Requirements of Commercial Manager
* Live within commutable distance to Central London
* JCT contract experience
* Experience leading projects from procurement to final accounts
* Strong cut & carve/fit out experience
* Experience leading a team
