The Role
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of registered therapy staff to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals. You will undertake baseline assessments within clearly defined parameters for the identified service. Implement, adapt, and progress treatment programmes within agreed protocols and defined parameters. You will use specialist technical and practical skills to deliver flexible, patient-centred programmes across a variety of clinical settings, including discharge or transition care within agreed protocols and defined parameters.
Duties may vary depending on the care group/department or assigned area of work.

What you'll need to bring
* HNC in healthcare, education, or social care, or SVQ III in healthcare, education, or social care, or equivalent experience.
* Short specialist courses relevant to the clinical area.
* Full driving licence holder.
* Awareness of health legislation relevant to the clinical area.
* Knowledge of therapeutic processes, techniques, and activities relevant to the client group.
* Basic assessment skills.
* Ability to apply a range of technical and practical rehabilitation skills.
* Effective listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Time management, planning, and organisational skills.
* Working knowledge of basic information technology.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Ability to learn and develop new skills and maintain a record of learning.
* Car driver with a full, valid UK/EU/EEA licence.

Contract type
Permanent, Part-Time (25.65 hours, pro-rata salary)
Location and Working Pattern
Based in the Integrated Rehabilitation Team within Motherwell/Wishaw Locality. The working pattern will be confirmed by the hiring manager.
