Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support a Solicitor within its growing Commercial Property department at the Solihull office. The Role You will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support, including: Managing Fee Earner diaries, meetings and appointments Ordering property and pre-completion searches (including Land Registry) Carrying out ID checks and conflict checks Opening and closing files Using the firm's case management system effectively Preparing basic contract packs and assisting with legal documentation Producing client correspondence from dictated notes Submitting SDLT forms to HMRC Submitting applications to register properties with the Land Registry Assisting with drafting contract packs, transfer forms and other legal documents Handling routine client correspondence and queries Creating and maintaining accurate client records in line with Lexcel requirements Requesting and recording client monies Maintaining confidentiality at all times Providing reception cover when required About You You will: Have previous experience as a Legal Assistant Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills Be highly organised with a methodical approach to work Be able to prioritise workload and work under time constraints Handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism Be self-motivated, proactive and client-focused Deliver excellent service to both clients and colleagues What's On Offer?
