Role: IT Support Engineer
Location: Horsham, West Sussex
Salary: Up to £32,000 per year
Work Model: Full-time, permanent - Onsite
The Role
We are looking for a motivated IT Support Engineer to join our growing IT team based in Horsham. This role is ideal for someone currently working in senior first line support who is ready to step into more 2nd line responsibilities.
You will provide day-to-day technical support to users, resolving IT issues and ensuring systems run smoothly. This is a great opportunity to develop your technical skills while working with a range of technologies in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to internal users
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
Manage and resolve support tickets in line with SLAs
Support Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
Assist with user account management in Active Directory
Set up and configure laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
Support Windows environments
Escalate complex issues when required
Assist with IT projects and system improvements
Required Skills & Experience
MSP experience
Experience in an IT Support / Service Desk / Helpdesk role
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11
Experience with Microsoft 365
Basic knowledge of Active Directory
Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
Experience with hardware setup and troubleshooting
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Desirable (Not Essential)
Exposure to Azure or cloud environments
Experience with ticketing systems
Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft etc.)
