We pride ourselves on building strong, hands-on, and personal relationships with our clients. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Facilities Manager to join our team in Glasgow.
The role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, enthusiastic Facilities Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career. As the Facilities Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for clients and tenants, overseeing the day-to-day management of commercial facilities and ensuring excellent service delivery.
You will have the chance to manage a variety of properties and work closely with the wider Cowiesburn team, taking responsibility for your own clients and projects. Regular travel throughout Scotland and occasional travel across the wider UK will be required.
Key responsibilities
:
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients and tenants in relation to day-to-day commercial facilities management
* Support the Property Management team with contractor management, tendering of service providers, contractor management and meeting compliance standards
* Perform site inspections to ensure properties meet required standards
* Manage contractors and service providers, including tendering processes and compliance
* Oversee renovations, refurbishments, and building projects from planning to completion
* Support internal business operations, including process improvements and compliance initiatives
About you:
The ideal candidate will be looking to grow their knowledge and experience while taking ownership of their work. You will be a confident communicator, an excellent organiser, and a collaborative team player.
Qualifications and experience:
* Full UK driving licence
* At least 2 years' experience in a similar role within the commercial property sector
Skills required:
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Exceptional organisational, planning, and multitasking abilities
* A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when required
* Proficiency in IT, particularly MS Office
* Team working
* Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
