TechNest is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Manager to take ownership of our cloud and infrastructure estate, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical infrastructure knowledge with proven experience leading teams, managing suppliers, and delivering change in complex environments.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be responsible for the delivery of infrastructure projects and transformation initiatives, helping to modernise our technology estate through cloud adoption, automation, migration, and continuous improvement. You'll manage priorities, resources, budgets, risks, and timelines while ensuring solutions meet business and security requirements.
Alongside project delivery, you'll oversee the operational management of infrastructure services across Azure, networking, servers, virtualisation, endpoint management, and hybrid environments. You'll ensure services remain secure, resilient, and available, and you'll take the lead during major incidents when required.
A key part of the role is leadership. You'll coach and develop your team, support their professional growth, and create an environment where people can perform at their best. You'll also work closely with stakeholders across the business, translating business requirements into practical technical solutions and providing clear communication on progress, risks, and priorities.
You'll manage relationships with technology vendors and managed service providers, ensuring services are delivered to agreed standards and identifying opportunities to improve performance and value. You'll also be responsible for maintaining strong operational governance, supporting ITIL processes, and ensuring compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
Finally, you'll take ownership of infrastructure budgets and resource planning, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maximise the value of technology investments.
What We're Looking For
At least 10 years' experience working in IT infrastructure environments.
5+ years' experience in an Infrastructure Manager, Technical Delivery Manager, or Service Delivery Manager role.
Strong experience delivering infrastructure and cloud transformation programmes.
Proven experience leading technical teams and developing people.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and modern infrastructure technologies.
Experience managing third-party suppliers and managed service providers.
Ability to build effective relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working within complex enterprise environments.
Good understanding of ITIL service management practices and infrastructure governance.
Nice to Have
Exposure to automation and Infrastructure as Code.
Experience in highly regulated environments.
Relevant Microsoft Azure or infrastructure certifications.
