This isn’t your average management role.We’re seeking a dedicated, experienced, and values-driven Registered Manager to lead a well-established children’s residential home in Preston — a place where high standards are expected, and young lives are changed every day.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing strong, consistent leadership to staff and ensuring a stable, nurturing home environment
* Leading compliance with Ofsted standards, safeguarding legislation, and internal policies
* Managing budgets, resources, staffing, and occupancy levels
* Driving continuous improvement and ensuring high-quality outcomes for children
* Developing a culture of accountability, support, and genuine care
You’ll bring:
* Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children’s residential care setting
* A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or equivalent (or be working towards it)
* Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and safeguarding responsibilities
* A proactive leadership style with a hands-on approach
* A Full UK Driving Licence and a valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
