Talent Acquisition and Retention Manager - CIPD level 5 student
The Digital Marketing Executive will play a key role in executing and optimizing digital marketing initiatives to promote the Criterion hospitality brands, drive traffic, generate bookings, and support a seamless online guest experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in digital campaign execution, content optimization, and analytics, and will thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Key responsibilities:
* Assist in implementing the brand’s digital marketing strategy to support online visibility, guest acquisition, and engagement.
* Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure cohesive campaign execution across all digital channels.
* Identify trends and insights to help refine digital tactics based on performance data.
2. Website & SEO support:
* Support the optimization of website content and structure for improved user experience and SEO performance.
* Collaborate with the web development team to ensure accuracy, visual appeal, and functionality.
* Conduct keyword research and help monitor site traffic and rankings.
* Execute and monitor PPC campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, and others under the guidance of the Digital Marketing Manager.
* Assist in managing digital ad budgets and preparing performance reports.
* Perform A/B testing on ad creatives and landing pages.
* Create, schedule, and analyze email campaigns including newsletters and promotions.
* Segment CRM databases for targeted email marketing and personalization.
* Monitor open rates, CTRs, and conversions to identify areas for improvement.
5. Reporting & Analytics:
* Assist in tracking and reporting campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and email platforms.
* Compile regular performance dashboards and help identify actionable insights.
* Stay updated with digital marketing trends and competitor activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, Communications, or related field.
* Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on digital marketing experience, preferably in hospitality, tourism, or a related sector.
* Technical Skills:
* Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
* Understanding of SEO principles, email marketing platforms, and CRM systems.
* Experience with content scheduling and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express) is a plus.
* Soft Skills:
* Strong attention to detail, creativity, and analytical thinking.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Preferred:
* Experience working in hospitality marketing (hotels, resorts, restaurants, or travel brands) or previous digital agency experience.
* Familiarity with OTAs (Online Travel Agencies), booking engines, and digital guest engagement platforms.
