Revenue Accountant
12 month FTC
Hybrid role - 2 days a week in our North Bristol office
The Role
As a Revenue Accountant, you will ensure accurate monthly recognition of NHS and private revenue, supporting debtor reconciliation and investigation.
Responsibilities
1. Support the monthly NHS and private revenue process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
2. Reconcile debtor balances and investigate outstanding items.
3. Respond to queries from dental practices regarding income recognition.
4. Maintain accurate records to support audit requirements.
5. Provide ad hoc support to the Revenue Team Leader.
Skills/Experience
6. Financial background (AAT or part-qualified accountant).
7. Good understanding of double-entry accounting.
8. Previous experience in revenue accounting and reconciliations.
9. Strong communication skills.
10. Advanced Excel skills.
11. Proactive, with a positive “can-do” attitude.
12. High attention to detail.
13. Collaborative team player.
14. Experience within the healthcare industry (desirable).
15. Experience using CODA (desirable).
