We’re looking for a confident, delivery-focused Project Manager with a passion for automation, process improvement, and real operational impact.
If you enjoy taking messy, manual processes and turning them into streamlined, automated solutions, working closely with technical teams and stakeholders to make change actually stick - this role is built for you.
This is a hands-on delivery role, not a governance-only position. You’ll be leading automation, RPA and AI-enabled initiatives that directly improve how IRIS operates day-to-day.

About the Team You'll Join
You’ll join our Programme team within Change & Transformation, working alongside experienced:
* Project Managers
* Programme Managers
* Business Analysts
* Automation and technical specialists
It’s a collaborative, delivery-driven environment where well-run projects and practical outcomes genuinely matter.
What You'll Be Doing
* Lead automation and process improvement projects from discovery through to delivery
* Own delivery plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and outcomes
* Run discovery workshops to understand current processes and identify automation opportunities
* Work closely with RPA / automation specialists and third-party partners
* Translate business needs into clear, deliverable project plans
* Use Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches depending on the work
* Track progress using tools such as Asana, Jira, or Monday.com
* Produce clear, outcome-focused reporting for senior stakeholders
* Step in early when delivery drifts — and confidently bring things back on track
* Support teams through change, ensuring adoption of new automated ways of working
* Promote leaner, smarter, more efficient processes across the organisation
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Calm under pressure
* Confident handling senior and challenging stakeholders
* Comfortable leading delivery where technology, process, and people intersect
You’ll need:
* Experience leading large or complex projects
* Background in automation, migration programmes, or highly structured environments (e.g. finance, telecoms, regulated sectors)
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Proven experience improving processes and using data to guide decisions
* A tech-savvy mindset - comfortable working alongside RPA, automation, or AI solutions (or keen to deepen this experience)
* Experience delivering using Agile and Waterfall
* Familiarity with project tools such as Asana, Jira, Monday.com
* Clear, confident communication and the ability to influence others
It's a bonus if you have:
* Hands-on exposure to RPA or automation platforms
* Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience
* A recognised project management qualification (PRINCE2, APM, PMP, etc.)
* Experience working with third-party technology partners
