Overview
Assist with the effective provision of Instrumental instruction to individuals and groups of pupils within an educational environment to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council's key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.
Responsibilities
As part of the Instrumental Service, contribute to delivering instrumental instruction and support within Loudoun Academy and across East Ayrshire, working with colleagues to support the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council's objectives.
Requirements
We follow the national guidance in relation to pre-employment checks namely \"Safer Recruitment Through Better Recruitment\". During your application you should provide details of at least two appropriate and relevant references, one of which should be from your current or most recent employer. The reference from your current or most recent employer should be from an appropriate senior manager and not from a former peer operating at the same level.
The Individual
This is a temporary part-time post with the Instrumental Service and based within Loudoun Academy and also supporting other educational establishments across East Ayrshire.
The hours of work are 14 hours per week, to be worked 2 days per week.
The post is temporary until 30 June 2026.
The part-time salary range is £21,113 – £28,063. The full-time equivalent salary range is £35,190 – £46,773.
