Responsibilities
* Overseeing both reception and holiday sales, you will lead a team of up to 20 to ensure that the guest journey is effortless from beginning to end.
* Ensure all guest information is prepared prior to check-in and departure, and maximise sales throughout the stay by providing informative advice on hotel experiences (e.g., Afternoon Tea, Gin Tasting).
* Support guests to talk in confidence and book their next break.
What we are looking for
* An inspirational leader who drives their team to deliver a great guest experience.
* Experience in sales and target setting, with the ability to instil confidence in the team to actively sell extra experiences prior to a guest’s stay.
* Ability to effectively lead, motivate and engage leaders and team, even in times of high demand.
Skills and qualifications
* Experience of overseeing a busy reception desk.
* Ability to work to a sales target.
* Financial knowledge with the ability to manage sales in line with budgets.
* Capability to create an environment where the team can grow and develop.
* Effective communication with the ability to clearly articulate ideas.
