About You
The Role
We have ambitious plans to acquire a minimum of 12 new sites per annum and are looking to recruit an experienced Land Manager or Senior Land Manager, to join our innovative and multi-disciplined team.
We’re looking for a true visionary, with strong land acquisition skills, ready to tackle land purchasing in a new sector of the later living market with an entrepreneurial spirit and dynamic approach. It’s an exciting, challenging role, that requires a motivated and organised individual, with an infectious can-do approach and deep-set social consciousness.
The role will focus on acquisition of land in the Midlands, your geographical knowledge of this area and its key contacts will be fundamental in your success in this role. You will have proven land acquisition experience, built a strong network with land owners, agents, promoters, and local authorities, and have detailed knowledge of the land acquisition process and relevant legislation.
Advanced negotiation skills, positive strategic approach and being adaptable are highly sought-after attributes for this role.
Becoming our Land Manager
You will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise and be responsible for the acquisition of sites as laid down in the land purchase programme whilst supporting the delivery of key business performance targets. The management of internal stakeholders and external consultants will be crucial to facilitate the smooth and timely delivery of development projects until the commencement of construction.
You will be based at our Coventry office, whilst integrating our hybrid way of working which typically requires 2 days a week in the office, with the remainder working from home or outsourcing land and attending meetings.

Your Attributes
You will have:
* 3 years post qualification experience
* Site acquisition experience in commercial corporate or agency (does not need to be residential)
* Project Management skills
* Financial acumen, negotiation, and cost management skills
* Technical and design development proficiency
* Experience of managing planning applications is desirable but not essential
* A full UK Driving Licence
You will bring:
