Crucially, you will manage the academy's safeguarding overview: responding appropriately to child protection issues, meticulously recording safeguarding incidents and causes for concern. The role requires attending and providing reports following multi-agency meetings, including Child Protection and MARAC, and initiating referrals to external services like Social Care Direct.
