Academics, acting as an agency, are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Religious Studies and PSHE Teacher for a full-time, long-term position within a welcoming secondary school in Sheffield.

Pay: £140 - £195 per day (dependent upon experience, training, qualifications & client rate available, inclusive of holiday pay)
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Religious Studies and PSHE Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Sheffield. The successful candidate will teach Religious Studies and PSHE across Key Stages 3 and 4, taking full classroom responsibility, including planning, marking, and assessment.
The role will suit someone who is committed to delivering engaging lessons that encourage open discussion, promote respect and understanding, and help students develop their social, moral, and cultural awareness.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Religious Studies and PSHE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
* Mark and assess pupil work in line with school policies.
* Create a positive learning environment that promotes participation and curiosity.
* Contribute to department meetings and wider school life.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a safe, focused learning environment.
* Uphold safeguarding and equal opportunities policies at all times.
Candidate Requirements
? Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent).
? Degree in Religious Studies, Humanities, or a related field.
? Experience teaching Religious Studies and/or PSHE at secondary level.
? Excellent communication, planning, and classroom management skills.
? A passion for supporting the personal development of young people.
? Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
