GP Partner Opportunity - Roxburgh Street Surgery, Galashiels, Scottish Borders (4-8 sessions)
About our practice: Roxburgh Street Surgery is an established, trusted community practice serving 3700 patients. We are committed to the traditional partnership model, valuing a sustainable workload and quality of life for our entire team. No capital buy-in required for the premises. Our practice is a recognised centre for training, recently awarded recognition by NES for excellence in supervising FY2s across Scotland.
Team and Workload
* Current Clinicians: 2 Part-time Partners - 8 sessions, 1 Salaried GP - 5 clinical sessions, 2 long-term Locum GPs – 7 clinical sessions.
* Multidisciplinary Support: We benefit from dedicated Health Board ANP support for urgent care, a practice nurse for chronic disease management, and integrated PCIP services including a First Contact Physio, Practice Pharmacist, Treatment Room, and Phlebotomy services on site.
* Workload Management: We offer a mix of face-to-face and phone appointments, ensuring appropriate time allocation. We actively manage workload to maintain a healthy, manageable team workload.
* Admin Team: Our capable reception staff are a vital part of the team, fostering a strong relationship with our patients.
* Estimated Earnings: Competitive drawings.
* Benefits: 8 weeks of annual leave per annum and medical indemnity costs covered.
* Partnership: Full support will be provided for the new partner to transition into practice management responsibilities.

Location & Commutability
We are a 5-minute walk from Galashiels train station, making the practice easily commutable from Edinburgh (approx. 50 mins by train). Edinburgh and Newcastle airports are both approximately one hour away by car.
