OUR VALUES IN ACTION • Care and Compassion • Quality and Teamwork • Dignity and Respect • Openness, honesty and responsibility General Services Department – Galashiels Health Centre and Roxburgh Street Medical Practice, Galashiels Domestic Assistant/Porter Band 2 x 3 posts 2 based in Galashiels Health Centre - 14.9 hours per week (Monday to Friday 17:00-20:00) And 1 based in Roxburgh Street Medical Practice - 15 hours per week (Monday to Friday 17:00-20:00) Permanent We currently require two Domestic Assistant/Porters to join an excellent team of staff at Galashiels Health Centre, Currie Road and also Roxburgh Street Medical Practice, Galashiels. The successful candidates to will be required to work Monday to Friday 17:00 to 20:00 to provide a cleaning service and portering duties if required. Applicants will be required to demonstrate a high level of competence in domestic activities, flexibility and knowledge of the NHS Borders Behavioural Framework. Please note: the salary quoted is for full-time hours (37 hrs per week). For appointments to part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rata. Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check done than is currently the case. If the post is assessed as a "regulated role", your appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
