Job Description: Demand Planner
Role Overview
We’re looking for a detail-driven and commercially minded Demand Planner to take ownership of forecasting, planning, and driving alignment across sales, supply, and operations. This role is critical to ensuring that MyPura delivers the right products to the right places at the right time—supporting business growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
·Setup from scratch, a fully operational Demand Planning function.
·Lead the end-to-end demand planning process across all product categories and sales channels (DTC, retail, and international).
·Develop, maintain, and improve the rolling forecast model using historical data, market trends, promotions, and customer inputs.
·Be a big part of the introduction of the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process, collaborating with Commercial, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams.
·Work closely with 3PL, production, and procurement teams to ensure capacity and inventory alignment.
·Monitor and analyse forecast accuracy, identify root causes of variances, and implement continuous improvements.
·Report on demand trends, risks, and opportunities to internal stakeholders.
·Support new product launches with accurate volume forecasts and supply alignment.
·Manage and maintain planning tools, data integrity, and reporting dashboards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
·Act as the central point of contact between Commercial, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment of plans
·Partner with the Sales team to incorporate customer insights, promotions, and retail activity into forecasts
·Collaborate with the Marketing team to understand brand campaigns and their impact on demand
·Work with Operations and 3PL partners to translate forecasts into actionable supply and capacity plans
·Align with Finance to ensure forecast accuracy supports budgeting, cash flow, and inventory investment
·Foster strong communication and shared ownership of plans across all key stakeholders
Role Expectations
·Build and maintain a robust, reliable forecast that supports inventory and supply chain decisions.
·Take full ownership of the demand planning process, from data input to executive reporting.
·Act as a bridge between commercial and operational teams, ensuring alignment on supply and demand.
·Continually improve planning processes and tools to support scale and complexity as the business grows.
·Be a key contributor to the S&OP cycle, representing demand insights with clarity and confidence.
·Balance short-term agility with long-term planning stability to support business goals.
·Contribute to MyPura’s mission by helping deliver sustainable, high-quality products efficiently.
Requirements
·Proven experience in demand planning, supply chain, or forecasting (FMCG, retail, or e-commerce sectors preferred).
·Strong analytical and Excel/modelling skills; some experience with planning tools (e.g., Sage, SAP, Anaplan, or similar).
·Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignment.
·Commercial awareness and an understanding of the impact of planning on business performance.
·Experience working in a fast-paced or high-growth business is a plus.
