Job Description
As the HR Business Partner, you will be a trusted advisor to the business, driving the people strategy and enabling the delivery of key organisational goals.You'll take the lead on strategic HR projects and transformation initiatives, while partnering with leaders to build capability, strengthen culture and drive high performance.In this position you will need to have strong commercial insight, credibility, and the ability to manage complex employee relations challenges with confidence.Key Responsibilities
3. Drive the implementation of the People Plan to meet business goals.
4. Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant, consistent, and up to date.
5. Lead strategic HR projects and initiatives.
6. Coach and train managers on HR processes and best practice.
7. Manage complex disciplinary, grievance, and performance cases.
8. Oversee change initiatives such as TUPE transfers and restructures.
9. Produce insightful HR reports and analyse trends to drive improvement.
10. Line manage HR Officers and mentor team members.
11. Build strong relationships across the organisation and with external stakeholders.
12. Deputise for the Director of HR when required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Business Partner should have:
13. CIPD qualified or equivalent HR experience.
14. Proven experience in generalist HR (care/education sector experience desirable).
15. Strong knowledge of employment law, including TUPE and redundancy.
16. Varied experience in HR projects and change initiatives.
17. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
18. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
What's on Offer
Salary - £50k - Full-time - Permanent.This is a home based role with some travel to sites across the Devon/Cornwall area, dependant on business needs.
