About Us

Jones Interiors is a leading name in the soft furnishings and interiors market, supplying high-quality fabrics and interior products to retailers, designers, and other trade customers. We pride ourselves on our strong product range, excellent service, and long-standing relationships within the industry.

We are now looking for an ambitious and driven Area Sales Manager to join our team and grow sales across the West Midlands, Wales & South West territory.


The Role

As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing sales within your territory, working closely with both existing and new customers. This is a field-based role that involves regular travel across the region.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing and growing sales across the West Midlands, Wales & South West territory
* Building strong relationships with existing customers and ensuring outstanding service
* Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities
* Presenting and promoting our range of soft furnishings, fabrics and interior products
* Planning and carrying out regular customer visits and product presentations
* Achieving agreed sales targets and KPI’s for the territory
* Monitoring market trends and competitor activity, and reporting insights to the business
* Representing Jones Interiors at trade shows, customer events and exhibitions where required


About You

We’re looking for a self‑motivated, commercially minded salesperson who enjoys being out on the road and building long‑term relationships.


Essential skills and experience

* Proven field sales experience, ideally in soft furnishings, fabrics, interiors, or a related sector
* Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
* Excellent relationship‑building and customer service skills
* Confident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills
* Highly organised with the ability to plan and manage your own diary
* Comfortable working independently and making decisions in the field
* Full UK driving licenceExperience selling to interiors retailers, designers, or trade customers
* Knowledge of soft furnishings, fabrics and interiors products
* Based within the West Midlands, Wales or South West region
* Competitive salary and commission package
* Company car with fuel card
* Initially20 days annual holiday, less 3 days at Christmas,plus bank holidays
