Summary:
Amazon is a highly data-driven company passionate about its customers. Ensuring customers receive their orders on time and with quality is vital. The processes at the fulfillment centers (FCs) are largely manual, involving many associates. A critical role is that of a process associate, who mentors and guides associates to meet customer expectations by following standard work practices, keeping safety and quality in mind.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Manage daily shift operations.
2. Administer associate management.
3. Allocate jobs to associates.
4. Monitor and mentor associates on productivity, quality, and safety.
5. Ensure shift performance and develop action plans.
6. Prepare and implement training and development plans for associates.
7. Conduct daily 4M and 5S audits at workstations.
8. Serve as stand-in for Area Manager when needed.
9. Analyze metrics to identify and implement process improvements.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree.
* Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
* Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Over 1 year of experience in manufacturing or a customer-facing environment.
* Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel.
