Imports Manager required for a FMCG and Ingredients firm. This company imports goods into the UK and you will be responsible for the smooth running of the goods being imported. They company uses a customs brokerage firm, this role will check all the paperwork is correct. It is a internal freight forwarder role. Imports Manager, £45-60k, Hybrid / remote working available however you will need to be in London or Essex, as you might need to do some port visits. They are importing around 400 to 500 tons of meat products currently and looking to increase this. The role As a imports Manager you will ensure all the goods they are importing have all the correct documents in place in time for the ships docking at the ports. They import food items (including meat s) from Europe into the UK. You will work direct for the company to ensure everything runs smoothly within the UK part of the operation. They own the farms in Europe and importing there own produce into the UK for sale here in the UK. With alot of the items being meat items, the documents and customs clearance are critical to get correct.
