Head of Finance Delivery
Location: Hybrid working with offices in Spalding, Boston, and Horncastle
Permanent | Full-time
Salary: Up to £68'560
Sellick Partnership are excited to be recruiting for a permanent Head of Finance to join our forward-thinking Public Sector client based in Lincolnshire.
The Role
As Head of Finance, you will:
Lead the planning and delivery of end-to-end financial management and statutory accounts.
Be the key liaison between the client and the statutory Section 151 Officers across our client councils.
Provide strategic financial advice, performance reporting, and budget planning.
Ensure compliance with legislation, governance, and service level agreements.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in financial service delivery.
Manage and inspire a team of up to 10 FTEs, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Deputise for the Chief Finance Officer when required.What We're Looking For
Fully qualified CCAB accountant (e.g. CIPFA, CIMA) with evidence of ongoing CPD.
Proven experience in financial leadership within the public sector or similar complex environments.
Strong understanding of local government finance, statutory reporting, and budget management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
