Hollinswood House is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to become part of our supportive Renal Team. In this rewarding role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality care and providing essential support to patients undergoing haemodialysis.

* Previous dialysis experience is desirable, but not essential — full training will be provided

Main duties of the job
The Dialysis Assistants are responsible for the ordering and maintenance of stores on the unit and are expected to work within their own level of competence and assist in the preparation, provision of care and supervision of patients treated by Haemodialysis. You will be supernumerary while you receive full training and complete our renal unit competency training book.
Working for our organisation
The Renal Unit is open 6 days a week from Monday - Saturday including Bank holidays. Staff work 13-hour shifts. The post holder must be able to work flexibly and be able to travel between sites as required. The Unit is opened from 07:00 - 20:00 Monday to Saturday.

Experience
* Previous experience in healthcare setting
Qualifications
* GCSE grade 9-4 or Level 2 qualification in English and Maths or equivalent
Skills
* Evidence of effective verbal- face to face / telephone, non-verbal, written communications skills.
* Ability to work well independently and within a multidisciplinary team
