About the role:
At NEXT we have a great opportunity for a highly collaborative Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing Operations team at our Head Office in Leicestershire. This role is crucial for delivering key marketing projects, promotions, and campaigns across our network of 40 NEXT outlet stores.
This is a Part-Time Hybrid role (25 hours per week, 9 am – 2 pm, Monday to Friday), with 2-3 days per week based in the office.
Responsibilities
* Managing the entire life cycle of physical marketing projects for our outlet stores, including purchasing, allocation, delivery, and post‑implementation communication.
* Coordinating marketing for New, Refit, and Closure Outlet Stores.
* Managing the seasonal budget for outlet, specifically handling up to £100k per season for all outlet marketing requirements, including in‑store and window marketing.
* Organising quarterly photo shoots for Special Purchase stock, liaising with the in‑house photo studio and Outlet Buyers/Merchandisers to ensure stock is selected and imagery follows brand guidelines.
* Communicating clear and detailed written instructions to ensure store teams can successfully implement the in‑store/window marketing.
* Assisting with the physical print and general marketing requirements for NEXT Brand Partners in our outlet stores, which includes Victoria’s Secret and GAP.
* Organising quarterly VM layouts for Women & Children’s Special Purchase stock, liaising closely with Head Office VM teams and Outlet Buyers/Merchandisers to coordinate scheduling mock‑shops, delivery of samples and photography, and providing written guidelines for stores.
* Maintaining day‑to‑day upkeep of system‑based store marketing orders and stock check/replenishment of warehouse‑stored marketing.
About You
The successful candidate will be a high‑calibre organiser with proven communication skills, both verbal and written, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Essential Skills
* Excellent communication: Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Organisational skills: Ability to manage complex logistics and critical paths.
* Competent in G‑Suite (G‑Mail, Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides).
Desirable Experience
* Previous experience in a marketing and/or retail environment.
* Specific experience in coordinating physical print and promotional marketing projects within a retail setting.
