We are seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking Consultant ENT Surgeon to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality care across East Surrey, Crawley, and Horsham Hospitals. This cross-site role offers a unique opportunity to provide both emergency ENT services general elective ENT, with a focus on Otology and Paediatric care.
As part of our commitment to excellence, you will play a key role in service development, focusing on elective recovery, improved resource utilisation, and innovative clinical practice. The successful candidate will integrate into the ENT department, collaborating closely with colleagues to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based care, continuous clinical audit, and research-led advancements.
Main duties of the job
You will contribute to the strategic vision of the service, ensuring standards are not only maintained but continuously improved. With a strong emphasis on professional development, appraisal, and job planning, this role provides the opportunity to drive innovation and shape the future of ENT services within a supportive and progressive environment. Working with national initiatives such as GIRFT, the successful candidate will have an excellent opportunity to lead on the transformation of ENT outpatient care, including significant improvements to the front end of adult suspected cancer pathways in addition to the special interest areas of Otology and Paediatric care.
