Introduction to the role
At Watford Community Housing, we provide vital services that help people to live better lives. We're looking for an administrator to join our Investment & Sustainability Team and help us deliver a range of projects and programmes to improve our customers' homes ensuring that we provide safe, warm and healthy homes.
Role purpose
You will be joining a great team and assisting colleagues by providing varied administrative support in relation to all projects and programmes. You will act as the first point of contact for enquiries for the team, dealing with these quickly and efficiently where possible or escalating to relevant colleagues, as necessary, ensuring that customers are at the heart of everything that we do.
What's the role?
Key Accountabilities:
1. Provide administrative support to the Investment & Sustainability team in delivery of all projects and programmes.
2. Produce packs in relation to complex cases including Disrepair, Insurance and Damp & Mould cases, in line with regulatory requirements.
3. Monitor the Investment & Sustainability Team inbox, ensuring queries are responded to within 48 hours.
4. Coordinate and maintain complaints related data, ensuring all information is accurately captured, logged, and updated within relevant systems. This includes monitoring incoming complaints, verifying data quality, tracking case progress.
What are we looking for?
Essential:
o Excellent customer service skills - experience of working with customers and dealing with complaints.
o Experience of dealing with large amounts of data effectively.
o Dealing with customer complaints.
o Data input and loading and checking data to a high standard
o Knowledge of housing and property related matters would be preferred including an understanding of regulatory requirements.
o Excellent Intermediate / Advanced IT literacy skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to create, update and formulate complex spreadsheets to deliver information in appropriate formats.
o Ability to prioritise, organise and manage a diverse and complex workload.
o Good team working skills.
o Ability to work under pressure and to challenging targets
o GCSE A - C in Maths and English
o Desirable:
o Experience of using Housing management I.T. systems i.e., MRI.
o Ability to work effectively and professionally in challenging situation and seek support where appropriate.
o A good understanding of data protection in practice and the importance of data security.
