We’relooking for an experienced Transport and Logistics Manager to lead ourlogisticsfunction across the UK & Irelandbased at our Cannock site. This roleisfocused on delivering safe, efficient, and cost-effective transport operations while driving team development and continuous improvement.

Whatyou’lldo:
6. Lead the Transport and Logistics Planning team, setting clearobjectivesand ensuring daily operational coverage.
7. Oversee scheduling for HGVs, drivers, and equipment to deliver cost-effective plans and high service standards.
8. Manage andmaintainthe HGV fleet, ensuring compliance, safety, and operational efficiency.
9. Drive continuous improvement inlogisticsprocesses, systems, and performance tracking.
10. Build strong supplier relationships, manage onboarding, and ensure service levels meet business needs.
11. Monitor KPIs and implement initiatives to improve delivery performance and cost efficiency.
12. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve escalations and enhance customer satisfaction.
13. Embed wellbeing, inclusion, and development into team culture through coaching and succession planning.
You’llbring:
14. Valid International Transport Manager CPC qualification.
15. Proven experience managing HGV fleets and transport operations.
16. Strong knowledge of transport compliance and regulations.
17. Leadership experience managing diverse teams, including drivers and planners.
18. Commercial acumen witha track recordof improving profitability throughlogisticssolutions.
19. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
20. Proficiencyin ERP systems, planning tools, and data analysis.
21. Commitment to fostering a culture of inclusion, wellbeing, and continuous improvement.
