Job Title: Care Assistant – Weekend
Location: Shrewsbury
Contract: Full‑Time, Part‑Time, Flexible
Salary: £13.30 per hour (weekends) + paid travel time and mileage (40p per mile)
Driving licence: UK full driving licence & access to a vehicle required
Bank holiday pay: time and a half
On‑call support, sleep‑in & waking nights available
What the role looks like
1. Providing day‑to‑day support to older people in their own homes
2. Assisting with activities of daily living, medication management and dementia care
3. Helping clients go to appointments, run weekly shops, and take part in social activities
4. Working flexible hours, early and late shifts, and alternate weekends if required
What you’ll need
* UK full driving licence and own vehicle
* Right to work in the UK
* Access to a vehicle or ability to obtain business‑use car insurance
* BSR certification or willingness to complete DBS check and Care Certificate
