Our client, a respected organisation based in Derry, is seeking a full-time HR Assistant to join their HR department on a permanent basis. This role is perfect for someone with strong administrative abilities and early HR experience who's eager to build their career in a fast-paced, supportive, and people-focused environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring HR processes are efficient, compliant, and employee-focused - covering recruitment, onboarding, employee data management, and day-to-day HR coordination. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality administrative support across all HR activities, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy at all times. Coordinate recruitment processes - post job adverts, arrange interviews, and communicate with applicants. Support onboarding and induction, preparing employment contracts, verifying Right to Work documents, and ensuring new starter records are complete. Maintain employee records and HR systems to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and accessibility. Prepare and issue HR correspondence, assist with reviews, probation meetings, and other employee lifecycle activities. Produce and update HR reports, providing data and insights to managers when required. Take accurate minutes during employee relations meetings, including disciplinaries or investigations. Oversee annual leave administration and assist with HR projects, process improvements, and compliance initiatives. The Ideal Candidate Holds or is working towards a CIPD qualification or has a degree in HR or a related discipline. Previous experience in an HR support or administrative role. Strong organisational and communication skills, with attention to detail and discretion. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience with HR systems and confident managing sensitive employee information.
