The Role
1. Assess, diagnose, treat, and discharge patients with minor injuries and minor illnesses
2. Take comprehensive histories and perform focused clinical examinations
3. Formulate differential diagnoses and management plans
4. Request and interpret diagnostics (X-ray, pathology, ECGs) within scope of practice
5. Perform procedures including suturing, plastering, wound care, and foreign body removal
6. Provide health promotion, self-care, and safety-netting advice
7. Escalate and refer patients to ED, GPs, or specialty services as required
