Salary: Up to £50,000 depending on skills and experience
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of radar technology. Your responsibilities will include:
* Applying Systems Engineering Principles: Utilize ISO 15288 to support system design throughout the engineering lifecycle, from requirement definition to system integration and customer acceptance.
* Requirements Management: Discern and decompose requirements to system and sub-system levels using tools like IBM DOORS Next.
* System Design Decomposition: Undertake system design decomposition and modeling, managing architectural models in CATIA Magic (Cameo).
* Acceptance Strategies: Help define and articulate acceptance strategies to verify requirement compliance at each system design level.
* Technical Reviews: Assist with technical reviews and verification of engineering design and documentation.
* Data Analysis: Collect and analyze real-world system data to drive evidence-based improvements and inform design decisions.
* Complex Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets using statistical techniques and visualization tools to identify trends and troubleshoot issues.
Your Skills and Experiences:
We’re looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
* Degree qualified or equivalent in a technology, engineering, or science-related discipline.
* Understanding of engineering lifecycle principles and systems thinking.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Systems Engineering.
* Ability to perform data analysis on large datasets using statistical methods and scripting languages (e.g., MATLAB).
* Hands-on experience with complex systems to collect and interpret operational data is desirable.
