Contracts Manager (Legal team)

£60K-£80K + benefits
Working closely with the Head of Legal, this role will contribute to the drafting, review, negotiation, and ongoing management of customers commercial agreements across the business.
The Contracts Manager will act as a key business partner to Sales, Finance and Purchasing ensuring contracts are commercially aligned with business objectives and appropriately manage legal risk.
Key Responsibilities
* Work in close partnership with the Head of Legal to build and continuously improve the company’s contract management framework, tools, and best practices
* Support the drafting, review, and negotiation of a broad range of UK and cross-border commercial agreements such as customer agreements including framework contracts and supply agreements
* Partner with commercial teams to support bids, tenders, and negotiations with pragmatic, business‑friendly advice.
* Ensure the business understands and comply with company contracts.
* Manage the full contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, expiries, and key obligations
* Support the handling of contractual queries, disputes, and claims in collaboration with the Head of Legal
* Maintain and update or draft, as the case maybe, contract templates to ensure they remain relevant, compliant, and aligned with business strategy
* Conduct legal and regulatory research as needed
* Contribute to supplier qualification processes and ongoing contract compliance
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related field
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in international commercial contracting or a similar role
* Solid understanding of contract law and commercial risk
* Experience working in a fast-paced, international environment is a plus
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
