JR/Mid- Account Executive | RegTech Scale-up | £45k base + £90k+ OTE (uncapped) | London (x4 days on-site)
Take full ownership of enterprise sales at a fast-growing compliance technology company that's completely changing how businesses verify identities and prevent fraud.
This isn't your typical AE role where you're just working leads and hitting quota. You'll be learning enterprise sales from one of the founders who built this business from scratch - someone who knows how to close complex deals in regulated markets, navigate procurement, and speak credibly to CTOs and CFOs about compliance frameworks.
You'll see exactly how enterprise deals get done, not guess from home.
The company is at the perfect stage - early enough that you can shape how they sell as they scale, established enough that the product is proven with serious clients. You'll work on deals that matter (£100k+ ARR), build relationships with executive stakeholders, and develop the commercial and technical credibility that sets top-performing AEs apart.
If you're 2 years into your AE career and want to learn how enterprise sales actually works in a technical, regulated space with uncapped earnings potential, this is it.
About the Company
Fast-growing compliance technology company operating at the intersection of identity verification, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance. Their clients are FinTech platforms, crypto exchanges, and digital banks processing millions of verifications monthly - think Revolut-style challengers who need bulletproof KYC/AML compliance whilst onboarding customers in seconds.
The Role
* Own a named account list targeting upper-middle market and enterprise companies (think £100k+ ARR deals)
* Build relationships with executive stakeholders - CTOs, COOs, CFOs - who are making decisions based on regulatory requirements and risk appetite
* Lead complex sales cycles involving product workshops, technical demos, and bespoke commercial negotiations
* Work with company leaders from Engineering, Product, and Finance to deliver detailed solution presentations and financial analyses
* Navigate procurement, legal due diligence, and compliance frameworks throughout the sales process
* Contribute to team projects to develop and refine sales process as the commercial function scales
What Makes This Different
* You'll be learning directly from one of the founders - not a sales director who joined 6 months ago, the person who built this business from scratch and knows how to close enterprise deals in regulated markets
* x4 days on-site in London because they're serious about building a sales culture where you learn by being in the room - see how deals get done, how to handle procurement objections, how to navigate legal red tape
* Real ownership - you'll shape how they sell as they scale, not just follow a playbook
* Working in a regulated space where technical credibility and compliance knowledge separate good AEs from great ones
What You Need
* 2+ years of closing experience as an Account Executive with a track record of hitting targets
* Comfortable having business-level and technical conversations with stakeholders across an organisation
* Naturally analytical - you enjoy diving into business models and helping customers quantify ROI
* Compliance-aware - you don't need RegTech or FinTech experience, but you need to understand why identity verification, KYC, and AML matter in regulated industries
* Driven and competitive - motivated by uncapped earnings and building something rather than coasting
* Strong presentation skills, particularly for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders
* Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment
Package
* £45k base salary
* £90k+ OTE (uncapped commission structure)
* x4 days per week on-site in London
* Learn from founder-level leadership with genuine enterprise sales expertise
* Clear progression path as the commercial team scales
