A growing national wealth management firm is looking to appoint a T&C Manager to support and develop its Financial Planning team across the North and Midlands. This is a key hire within an expanding business, offering the opportunity to work closely with advisers and play a visible role in improving advice quality and performance. You will be one of three T&C Managers in the business, collectively supporting a population of around 200 advisers. This particular role will be aligned to offices across Manchester, Newcastle, Chester and Nottingham, with regular travel required to build strong, on-the-ground relationships. This is a people-focused role suited to someone who understands financial planning in practice and enjoys working closely with advisers to support, challenge and develop them.
Responsibilities
* Coaching, supervising and developing Financial Planners
* Assessing advice quality and supporting improvements in suitability and client outcomes
* Delivering targeted training programmes based on individual and team needs
* Conducting regular 1:1 meetings and maintaining clear supervisory records
* Using MI, KPIs and risk indicators to identify trends and development areas
* Supporting onboarding and early-stage development of new advisers
* Working collaboratively with senior stakeholders across Advice, Compliance and Operations

As a result, there is a continuous flow of new advisers joining the business, alongside a clear long-term strategy focused on succession planning and developing the next generation of Financial Planners. This growth creates a dynamic environment where T&C plays a central role in maintaining standards and supporting adviser development.
Qualifications
* Experience as a Financial Planner or strong practical knowledge of the advice process
* Previous experience in a T&C, supervisory or coaching capacity
* Level 4 Diploma qualified (or equivalent)
* Strong understanding of financial products, services and regulation
* Confident communicator with the ability to challenge constructively
* Comfortable with regular travel across regional offices
* Proactive, engaging and relationship-driven approach
