Join to apply for the Offering Management Advisor (Products) role at VELUX Commercial.
Based at our site in Blyth, Northumberland, this role supports both internal and external sales teams by preparing accurate quotations, processing orders, and managing communications across a wide range of customer types. You will maintain CRM records, support sales administration and ensure enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally. Occasional travel to other UK locations may be required.
What You Will Be Doing
* Collaborate closely with all VELUX Commercial colleagues to identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to delivering Customer Excellence.
* Prepare and issue accurate quotations, sales orders, and invoices for rooflight products in a timely manner.
* Maintain and update customer records and interactions within the company CRM system to ensure data integrity and visibility.
* Manage incoming and outgoing communications (phone calls, emails, and postal enquiries) from various customer types including Partners, Architects, Main Contractors, Installers, and internal VELUX colleagues.
* Respond to customer enquiries with complete and accurate information on the first contact, or escalate with all relevant details to internal or external sales teams.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to pricing, order processing, and customer communication.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Perform any other duties reasonably required in support of the role and team objectives.
Person Specification
Essential
* Educated to A level or equivalent
* Experience in an office based role in the Construction Industry
* Highly organised and self-disciplined with excellent planning skills and the ability to focus on the right things at the right time
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to develop, grow and maintain professional working relationships at all levels (within and out with the Organisation)
* Strong computer literacy skills; Microsoft Office Packages
* Robust and resilient attitude towards challenges, and affecting and implementing change
* Full UK driving license
Desirable
* Strong networking skills
* Ability to effectively communicate with and manage key stakeholders expectations within a global matrix organization
* Passport
Please note that, as part of the role, occasional travel will be required to our other UK location (approx. 2-3 times per year).
