To achieve and exceed area sales and margin targets, promote the ILIV brand, convey the brand story, and ensure maximum appropriate distribution of POS throughout the territory.
Customers include interior designers, independent retailers, small commercial contractors, manufacturers and upholsterers.
Main Responsibilities
* To achieve and exceed all sales and margin targets for relevant accounts.
o Using an Area Business Plan & related Call Plan, ensure all revenue targets for each quarter/year are achieved.
o Evaluate each account to determine areas of growth, potential risks and a successful prospect pipeline for new business.
o Be confident in working through a sales cycle, whilst maximizing opportunities within each call.
* To increase POS distribution including Pattern Books and Book Clubs, Mini Curtain Galleries, Contract Binders and Window Displays.
* To build relationships with customers in all residential sectors (Retailers, Designers and Manufacturers).
* Ensure an average of 4-5 customer calls per day is achieved across a 1‑week period.
o Utilise the CRM system to plan, set objectives and create actions to maximise call efficiency and achieve a 5‑call per day average.
o Use SMART objectives when planning, hitting a 75% success rate.
o Ensure a sensible and efficient journey plan is devised and adhered to 80% of the time.
* Continue to increase the active customer base against set targets.
* To represent the ILIV brand with the utmost confidence, knowledge and skill.
o Utilise the sales manual to confidently present the brand values to customers, especially new ones.
o Demonstrate ILIV’s point of difference and the great value proposition offered to all customers.
* Provide timely feedback & reporting, as required by the business.

* Ensuring you carry correct book stock samples and books as required.

* Embrace a specific ‘Champion’ tag or specialised product area as directed by the business to share best practices with the wider ASM team.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
* Excellent account management, rapport building and negotiation skills.
* A commercial approach to business and the ability to quickly gain in‑depth understanding of SMD, its operational & sales procedures.
* Team player who will engage with and motivate other colleagues in the field.
* Ability to prepare reports/presentations and have excellent communication skills.
* Financial Acumen: Ability to analyse and disseminate information clearly and concisely under pressure and to deadlines.
* The ability and motivation to continually develop their level of product and industry knowledge.
* Demonstrable understanding of the importance of the ILIV brand and philosophy.
* Excellent relationship builder, questioning & listening skills.
* Basic IT skills (Excel & PowerPoint) and basic understanding of a CRM software package.
* Minimum 3 years previous experience managing textile/fabrics accounts and/or independent retailers in the Interiors Market.
* Advanced CRM skills & ability to understand social media platforms and their impact on the industry.
* Demonstrates knowledge or basic understanding of commercial contract accounts.
