Hours
40 hours per week:
* Monday to Thursday, 7am-4pm
* Friday, 7am-1pm
Responsibilities
* Install mechanical components including pipework, brackets, supports, and ducting
* Operate FLT, scissor lift, and cherry picker to transport and install materials
* Interpret mechanical drawings and layout plans
* Assist with assembly and alignment of mechanical systems and equipment
* Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
* Follow all health and safety procedures, including safe lifting and working at height
Requirements
* Previous welding experience
* Proven background in mechanical installation or utilities work
* Valid licenses/certifications for FLT, scissor lift, and cherry picker
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
* Strong understanding of manual handling and safe lifting
* Comfortable working at height and in physically demanding environments
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
