Business Development/Account Manager
Location: Portsmouth
Salary: £27,500 Basic Salary + commission (Realistic OTE upward of £40k-£50K)
Start date: ASAP
Hours of work: Core working hours, Monday to Friday
Dynamite Recruitment is partnering with a well-established business in Portsmouth. Due to growth plans in 2021, our client is recruiting for a Business Development/Account Manager.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Be the first point of contact for customers via email and telephone.
2. Generate repeat business by contacting previous customers to identify changes and rectify issues.
3. Manage key client accounts and drive sales growth.
4. Assist customers with billing and account queries.
5. Manage and update customer accounts regularly.
6. Take ownership of sales targets and identify new sales opportunities.
7. Utilize CRM to log activity, chase, and follow up on tender opportunities.
8. Sell to existing customers to increase revenue.
9. Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure sales verification compliance.
10. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
11. Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing clients.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Experience in sales or account management roles.
2. Ability to manage and prioritize workloads effectively.
3. Proactive and driven attitude.
4. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
5. Strong sales and account management skills.
6. Ownership of issues and efficient resolution skills.
7. Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering targets.
8. Competent in using email, phone, and networking platforms.
