Salary Band: £36,075 - £37,020
Location: Dollan Aqua Centre, Brouster Hill, East Kilbride
Hours: 37 Hours per week. Shift Pattern: 3 Week Rota
* Week 1: Monday, Tuesday 1:30pm - 10:30pm, Wednesday 1:45pm - 10:15pm, Saturday 6:45am - 6pm, Sunday 7:30am - 2:30pm
* Week 2: Tuesday 5:15am - 1:45pm, Wednesday 6:45am - 4pm, Thursday 1:30pm - 10:30pm, Friday 1:30pm - 9pm
* Week 3: Monday 5:15am - 1:45pm, Thursday 5:15am - 2pm, Friday 5:15am - 12:45pm, Sunday 2:15pm - 8:30pm

Job Profile
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join the management team at Dolan Aqua Centre. You will assist the Recreation Officer to manage the day‑to‑day operation of the facility, ensuring effective implementation of SLLC's Leisure Strategy and Business Plan in order to provide a quality and consistent service to our customers. You will be responsible for ensuring staff are effectively managed, developed and reviewed to successfully deliver the operation of the facility.
Applicants must hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, Pool Plant Operators Qualification and a First Aid at Work Certificate. A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification trainer assessor qualification is desirable, however training will be provided.
Responsibilities
* Assist the management team to manage the day‑to‑day operation of the facility, ensuring effective implementation of SLLC’s Leisure Strategy and Business Plan.
* Accountable for financial processes, including payroll, ordering and cash management; assist in maintaining budgets for SLLC and trading activities.
* Ensure staff are effectively managed, developed and reviewed to deliver the operation of the facility.
* Undertake project work involved with events, building equipment and marketing within pre‑determined timescales.
* Provide customer care to high standards in line with the SLLC Strategy.
* Be responsible for the delivery of training.
