Technical Acoustic Sales Engineer
Location: Bracknell (client base Reading and wider UK)
Salary: £30,000 – £50,000
The Opportunity
A specialist noise-control consultancy is looking to add a Technical Acoustic Sales Engineer / Consultant as part of planned growth. The role blends design, assessment and client-facing consultancy with commercial input – with a defined path into senior leadership as the team scales.
What you’ll be doing
1. Develop and engineer bespoke noise-control solutions across varied sectors
2. Undertake acoustic assessments and provide clear, defensible technical advice
3. Own and grow client relationships as a trusted technical partner
4. Produce detailed proposals and support sales activity
5. Work with delivery teams to ensure projects land on time and to spec
What you’ll bring
6. Degree in Acoustics, Engineering or similar
7. Experience in acoustic consultancy or industrial noise control
8. Strong grasp of both theory and practical mitigation methods
9. Confident communicator with solid organisation skills
10. IOA membership (advantageous)
11. Full UK driving licence and ability to attend Reading office / sites
