The Role
We are looking for a Finance Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will support the Finance Manager on all day-to-day accounting and financial duties, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial policies and procedures. This role supports the Finance Manager with month-end and year-end processes while providing guidance and supervision to junior finance staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise, support and motivate members of the finance team to ensure deadlines are met.
* Oversee purchase and sales ledger processes, ensuring accuracy and resolving complex queries.
* Monitor cash flow and support the Finance Manager in the preparation of forecasts.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
* Support external audits, providing documentation and explanations as required.
* Ensure financial controls and procedures are adhered to in line with company policy and regulatory standards.
What We're Looking For: -
Skills and experience:
* AAT Level 4 qualified (or equivalent)
* ACCA part qualified or working towards
* Several years' experience in a finance/account's role
* Strong Excel skills and experience using finance systems (e.g. Sage, Xero, Coins)
* Sound understanding of reconciliations, journals, ledgers and reporting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to prioritise and manage workloads effectively
* High attention to detail and accuracy

Working Hours & Flexibility
This role is Full time Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 16.30 pm.

Office based – Phoenix House, 2nd Floor, 3 Surtees Business Park, Stockton-On-Tees TS18 3HR
Salary & Benefits
* Salary: £29,500 to £30,000 per annum (dependant on experience and qualifications)
* Holiday entitlement of 24 days and as an extra bonus a discretionary Friday off each month. (this excludes all public Bank holidays)
